hrithik roshan biography on and off screen has been a subject of great scrutiny in the Indian media and have not gone very well with his wife Suzanne Roshan.Hrithik Barbara mori mouth to mouth passionate kisses on the screen have been over the norm and seems like something hot is brewing in the cups of the movie kite couple.Barbara mori hrithik roshan kites are just to hot for each other.

Yes, we can!

shahrukh khan against amir khan Shahrukh khan and Amir khan stand against Multiplex owners!

Bollywood versus Multiplexe is an issue already.Multiplexes are loosing Rs150000 everyday because of the strike.Though its very difficult to understand the figures involved my heart goes out to the poor people engulfed between the super wealthy film producers and very wealthy multiplex owners. These people who are being burned from all sides are poor samosawalla, film technicians and many poor people who are a part of Bollywood.Imagine that samosawalla who has a small joint outside multiplex who makes his living earning Rs 300-400 everyday.Film goers who would otherwise spend money on these people are altogether absent from multiplex because no new films are being released. This strike doesn't make any difference to Shahrukh khan and Amir Khan who already have money and comfort for its seven generations to come.they can ideally sit in IPL matches in Capetown and sip Champagne while these poor daily wage earners are struggling to find their next bowl of rice. How can the film fraternity stoop so low.Actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Amir have forgotten the countrymen who are struggling to make both their ends meet.
On the other Multiplex owners should take an equal amount of blame for not reaching any agreement to finish off this strike.Problem is that in Kaliyug every one wants to hoard as much money as they can! This makes common people stand up and take notice. What will happen if tomorrow public rises up and stop seeing films by bollywood actors?Hollywood films are waiting down the corner and if Indian public embraces these foreign films it will be curtains for Shah Rukh and company.Common people see everything!

Bollywood Movie legends.

bollywood moviesBollywood movies and songs have always excited middle class Indians and the Arabs. That is the reason for its popularity in countries like Egypt and rest of the Arab world. It was indeed sad to see Taliban banning Bollywood movies and songs in Afghanistan where the ordinary Afghans swear by it.Though the popularity of Bollywood has totally vanished in Russia, once a very popular destination where Raj Kapoor and singer Mukesh Chand Mathur became legends. However it lasted while the iron curtain lifted and the Russians enjoyed better stuff with imported Hollywood and British material.
Many in the industry consider Bollywood a derogatory word for Indian film Industry which has already completed more than sixty years since Moti Lal showed Indians natural acting.Moti Lal,a legend in its own right could carry film on its soldiers with his elegant style and natural feeling. It was sad however that this talented actor and Icon lost all his money living a life in a fast lane where he would hobnob with British viceroys and Maharajahs with an ease unseen in his time.Another talented and versatile actor Balraj Sahni carried the legacy forward.Moti Lal,Raj kapoor and Mukesh formed a deadly combination in the film Industry which was hard to beat.
Than came another legend called Yusuf Khan alias Duleep Kumar who along with Madhu Bala and Ashok Kumar took Indian films to a new height.Shammi Kapoor,Shashi Kapoor and Sanjeev Kumar along with Rajesh Khanna came in tidal waves making films even more popular. The beauty of Madhu Bala and Waheeda Rehman on screen was unmatched in those times.Dev Anand had only popularised the show with his discovery Zeenat Aman who went on to become the most sexy actress, the Indian cinema has ever seen.Sanjeev Kumar and Amol palekar were other very talented actors who formed wonderful chemistry with Utpal Dutt.Comedians like Johar and Rajendernath and Mehmood kept the screen alive along with little help from Deven Verma.
Than came a Tsunami of Bollywood called Amitabh Bacchan, who scorched the screen with little help from Dharmendra and Vinod Khanna. Shri Ram Lagoo and Hangal provided the character roles necessary for films success.
However the era from 1989-2001 was the worst with talent at the back ground altogether.Underground Mafia led by Dawood Ibrahim spread their tentacles and would even supply the budding actresses to bedroom of Dubai Sheikhs for money.Naturally Indian film Industry became Bollywood.Actor and actresses of this era were untalented and usually moles of goons or politicians.Indian public stopped seeing films in theatre, instead watched more of Hollywood stuff.Liberalisation of Television even game an option to the Indian public. It was only after Indian film Industry was given the status of an Industry that things started changing.Nana Patekar emerged as a talented and bankable star.Only Madhuru Dixit kept the screen alive with her acting and beauty. Now is the time of models and families in Bollywood.Nephews, nieces and sons of yeastier stars have been forced on Indian public. This new generation actor and stars have no talent.

Slumdog Millionaire : Slumdog Millionaire pockets more honours.

Slumdog Millionaire : Slumdog Millionaire pockets more honoursSlumdog Millionaire : Slumdog Millionaire pockets more honours.
Filmfare awards comes and goes every year.No body notices because all know that bollywood is one happy family.Uncle will award to his niece and aunt to his uncle and so on!Almost all in Bollywood are related to each other so much so that a full family tree can be traced.Recently one accomplished actress collected a award and when the paparazzi asked her for which film, she was at a loss.Awards are always pre planned and bought over by the corporates or advertising agencies who promote their own models. No wonder you don’t see the talented artists like Nana Patekar,Om puri,Amir Khan or Nassiruddin Shah gracing these doubtful occasions.Actresses(if you can call them that) come on the stage wearing expensive clothes and thank their father mother and aunty uncle’s for the same.
Can we have one award or film festival in India where all is not biased?I don’t think so.We live in a country where connections matter.Imagine a cop catching a goon on the street stealing something and the goon turns around and takes out his mobile to call his uncle or father who is something.Police has to leave him.Connection matters in India.
When the Hollywood film Pink Panther was being released Aishwarya’s papaji alias Amitabh Bacchan and mammiji alias Jaya Bacchan and husbandji alias Abhishek Bacchan were present(Thank God Amar singh ji was absent). The Firang film producer must have footed the bill for the whole Bacchan clan. What one fails to understand is that Jaya Bacchan is a busy parliamentarian and does she get enough time to attend these lavish film awards and premiers?I doubt if she ever raises any questions in parliament. The same goes with other bollywood mega clans like the Kapoors and Deols etc.
However the big slap on bollywood face was given by none other than Slumdog millionaire producer and director Danny boyle.Scum covered Mumbai kids are shown being tortured by police and thugs and adjacent to these slums we have ever shinning bollywood.Mira nair said rightly that we Indians have lost our sense of justice but not glittering award ceremonies.People have stopped believing in these award ceremonies which India shinning but ignore the situation of 70% of Indians.

Slumdog Millionaire wins 8 oscar.

slumdog millionaire win 8 oscarSlumdog millionaire swept the Oscar Academy awards in Los Angeles .I had rightly predicted even before this film was nominated for Oscar.see here____
Indians were too happy and enthusiastic and all and sundry including the Dharawi slum inhabitants were logged on to this spectacle. However its very premature to conclude that an Indian film won an Oscar. It was an outright British film with Indian artists and some technicians.A R Rahman is a genius and it shows in his behaviour.he prefers keeping a low profile focusing his entire energy on music. His music is his own compositions and not copies of western melodies an art in which Indian composers like Anu malik and others are expert.
However this film is a slap on the face of Bollywood film makers who keep shouting about shortage of content for making good films.Story telling and screen play is an art which Indian directors have to learn.Off course there are exceptions like Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Shyam benegal.Irfan Khan as always has done justice to his role in the film.It is to the credit of Danny Boyle that he could make Dev Patel and Freida pinto act considering their non acting backgrounds. This is where the art lies in which you extract the best out of everyone.Though I don’t understand the publicity Anil Kapoor is getting for a role which amounts to nothing.Anil Kapoor is everywhere,on the posters and on the red carpet etc.Jai Ho was a good song but not the best though but beautifully blends with the theme of the film.Salute to Danny Boyle that he could use Rahman and Gulzar in a constructive way. However what beats me is why Sukhwinder singh the singer of Jai Ho was not invited to Oscar stage. He was denied a US visa?Who played the spoil sport?
There is a opposition to this film in India too.Famous self appointed Bollywood censors like Amitabh Bacchan (ghost promoted by alter ego Amar singh ji) did lambaste the film for showing Indian poverty.Whats wrong? Is it not truth about India shining?Dharawi indeed is just a mirror of our society and such places exist all over India where crime is rampant and politicians don’t give heed.It took a British filmmaker to take India to Oscars twice during the film Gandhi and later now in Slumdog.I think slumdog really means an underdog in this film which Indians sitting in high places are not able to understand.I know Vijay mallya will have his next calendar shoot in Dharawi!!It takes a gora man to awaken us to our problems in India. Why cant we and our bollywood brethren be a little more compassionate about these countrymen.Slums indeed are a blot on the face of any country. It shows that we are not able to eradicate poverty even after 60 years of Independence.Did Dharawi exist in the times of British?no!It took another British man Danny Boyle to prove that”look you are worse off after independence”!Its time Mahesh Bhatts and others make some original stuff rather than copying from western film DVD’s.After all how much can you dance in the films and make mockery of art.!!

Pinto slumdog forgets her husband.

freida pinto slumdog
Freida pinto was sure born with starlight engraved in her fate.Almost unknown and and unseen in Mumbai she has become a Hollywood sensation overnight that even the likes of big Hollywood studios are betting on her. This very thin girl from a Mumbai suburb and daughter of a college principal has left the big time bollywood actresses fuming with envy.Slumdog millionaire by Dan Boyle has catapulted her to the heights that even Aishwarya rai has not seen. The main result however was that this ambitious girl has dumped her boyfriend/fiancee and gone to New York looking for greener pastures.
This is what I call the ultimate fate. One film and a Mumbai girl has become an international star hobnobbing with the likes of Clint Eastwood,Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.I can hear lots of envious grunts in Mumbai particularly the big boobed Mallika sherawat who has not made any inroads despite a Hong Kong film “The Myth”.Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Kapoor must be cursing their fate.Aishwarya Rai was unlucky and has not made any acting impact on international arena.Fate of Ms Pinto only shows that you need solid backing from the stars to make it big time.Slumdog Millionaire has catapulted Dev patel and Irfan Khan too where many Indian stars can only dream to go!

Bollywood songs Billu Barber lifts king khan.

bollywood star shahrukh khan in billu barberShahrukh khan has become a Bollywood symbol now days.Popularly known as King Khan also ,this king of star signs Scorpio is a self motivated individual who has learnt to win.We don’t know how this star does it but he has shown tremendous agility and drive to be where he is today. We remember him from our time in Hans Raj College-Delhi university where this young man would roam around with Gauri and a hockey stick at his back. Once my sports director at that time Mr.Mangal Singh would tell me about this hockey player as mangal singh was a hockey player himself.Shah Rukh khan use to be shy person and I never had an opportunity to talk to him.It was in 1987 that Shah rukh Khan got a colour for hockey as he was the captain of Hansraj hockey team.In the same year I got a colour for table tennis.
After that we saw him in a DD serial as Abhimanyu and the next thing I knew that he has become a star in Bollywood.Though living abroad for almost 18 years I realized the heights to which Shahrukh Khan has risen as far as stardom is concerned. The full credit goes to the actor for maintaining strict discipline and many hours of weight training and reisting eating anything and everything.I know,I could not have done it.
Star sign favoured him in Bollywood in addition to his own hard work and he is slowly turning towards meaning ful cinema. When I watched Chak de India, everything about hansraj college came rushing back to me.though I never quite enjoyed my time in Hans raj, these memories keep coming back to me.Today I live in northern Europe where not many Indian films reach ,however I keep in touch with Shahrukh khan via youtube videos and keep telling my European wife about him so much that she has become a fan too!
