It seems that Bollywood Movie kingdom is not yet ready to make world class films which might play with peoples imagination.Its wrong to argue that SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE was a Bollywood venture,because it was not!Success of SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE was a combination of a theme and serious screenplay and story telling.
Bollywood Movie “Chandni Chowk to China” will bomb at the box office because,people are tired of this trash being turned out by directors and producers who don’t know the abc of Film making.On the other hand we had brilliant films like WEDNESDAY in which all credit should go to a combination of Nasiruddin Shah and Anupam Kher.Its time people in Bollywood Movies stop promoting their siblings and instead find raw talent who can deliver on superior performances.Akshay Kumar should think seriously about getting into normal cinema,after all he has his talented in laws to guide him.Almost all actors with the exception of Amir Khan lack acting skills.Bollywood Actors like Nasruddin Shah,Anupam Kher,Om Puri are the guiding lights of Indian film industry.Its time to bring actors like Amol Palekar ,Irfan Khan and Nana Patekar in mainstream cinema.They know how to deliver on arts and acting.Deepika Padukone should enroll into a bharatnatyam school where she can learn a lot as she has potential.Deepika can also learn a lot from Konkona Sen who has shown time and time again her maturity.Tabu too is the gem of Indian Cinema which has to show its potential.Though Bollywood songs and bollywood actresses are a favourite theme among the non resident Indians,it is not part of serious film making.Bollywood actreses now days are mostly the product of modeling world or former beauty pageants, without any dedication and motivation.Nowadays in Bollywood movies we hardly get to see Bollywood actress of the caliber of Shabana Azmi or Deepti Naval.
